AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) today announced the appointment of Dan Harlow as Portfolio Manager within AXA Framlington’s UK Equities team. Dan who will report to Mark Beveridge, Global Head of AXA Framlington, is an experienced UK Smaller Companies manager and so will work closely alongside Chris St John within the 9 strong UK Equities team which operates across the market cap spectrum. Based in London, Dan will start his new role on 22 February 2010.

His appointment is a strong indication of our commitment and intention to grow our UK smaller companies franchise within AXA Framlington’s highly experienced UK Equities team.”"
Dan joins AXA IM’s qualitative equities proposition, AXA Framlington, from Montanaro Asset Management Limited where he was a Director, sitting on the Board; Head of Fund Management, and Fund Manager of the Montanaro UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust. Dan also had direct responsibility for managing the portfolios of a number of other segregated mandates.

Dan Harlow Dan joins AXA Investment Managers’ qualitative equities proposition, AXA Framlington, in February 2010 as Portfolio Manager within the UK Equities team.
Previously Dan joined Montanaro Asset Management Limited in 2001 where he held a number of roles and quickly took on more responsibility becoming Head of Fund Management as well as continuing to manage the Montanaro Smaller Companies Investment Trust. Most recently he also became a Board Director of Montanaro Asset Management Limited.
Dan has a BA Hons in History and MSc International Relations from University of Southampton.
