Finding a financial adviser |
|
Having looked through our site, and perhaps those of other fund managers, you may be feeling confused as to what investment solution is best for you.
As a fund provider, we are not allowed to tell you which funds we think would be suitable for your personal investment needs, so we suggest you seek professional advice. You can get this from financial advisers (commonly known as IFAs).
Financial advisers vary from large companies with many branches throughout the country to small local firms who may only have one or two advisers.
If you need to find a financial adviser, a good place to start is with IFA Promotions, who offer an independent directory service. You can call them on 0117 971 1177 or visit their website.
When selecting a financial adviser, you should check that they are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. This means you will have access to available complaints procedures and compensation schemes if things go wrong. To check the status of an adviser, go to the Firm & Person Check Service on the Financial Services Authority's website, or call them on 0845 606 1234 (calls charged at local rates).
All financial services and investment funds in the UK are overseen and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Visit their consumer website for more information.
