Framlington Innovative Growth Trust aims to produce attractive long-term capital growth through selective investment in a portfolio of growth companies based in or predominantly trading in the UK.
The lead fund manager George Luckraft is one of the City's most respected fund managers, with nearly 30 years' experience. George is closely supported by Chris St. John and the AXA Framlington UK Smaller Companies team in the day-to-day management of the portfolio. Chris has nine years’ experience in managing small caps. His sound investment approach has enabled him to achieve consistent performance and gain a reputation as an astute stockpicker.
Our management team has an extensive wealth of experience in selecting growth businesses from smaller companies quoted on both the AIM and the main market. The team aim to invest in companies with a market cap, at the time of purchase, in most cases, less than the median company in the Index.
Their criteria are to pick companies which display an innovative approach to business, which demonstrate a willingness and ability to embrace new and evolving technologies and take advantage of social, political and cultural trends in the economy. Investments are monitored on a regular basis through meetings with management and through their newsflow.
